How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on Sony Xperia P [ICS and JB]

What is CWM? For taking Nandroid Backups, flashing zip files, if you caught in bootloops due to something wrong flashed WITHOUT backup of your important data, you can go for backup in TAR format from CWM Recovery and later on, extract the tar data and put in Titanium Backup to get it back... (YOU CAN'T USE WHOLE BACKUP THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN AFTER BOOTLOOPS)

Thanks to atis112 for the Recovery.

Well how do i know recovery is installed.
while installing, the computer's black window keep telling me that daemon can't run, killing some adb thingy, daemon successfully started, error:OK ||step 2|| daemon has a problem, it kills adb thingy and now it's running successfully the step 3 comes in and again this daemon starts killing and in the end i get daemon started successfully and the FINISHED!

is this end, recovery installed???

i have xperia P running JB 4.1.2 and windows 8.

Exit all ADB related Programs like Sony PC Comanion , Flastool, etc. , make sure u have followed all the steps properly, and when u connect ur phone it is detected in your pc, if it does not get detected then it means u dont have adb drivers installed.

CWM Recovery for each and every device is different , you can not install the recovery of X mobile in Y mobile :) . If you are on unlocked bootloader I can post a tutorial for installing recovery in Xperia L. For locked bootloader you have to wait until developers build a recovery for Locked Bootloader devices.

I do exactly as you say and when i connect the phone and open install.bat, it says:
Install recovery...

* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
=============================================
Step1 : Waiting for Device.
=============================================

and it doesnt do anything. recovery doesnt work either
